Music Tech Founders and Inventors Support Group at SXSW

Creative innovators in music and tech face similar challenges no matter what mad inventions they are bringing to life. Too often they try to face these alone. The Music Tech Founders and Inventors Support Group Meet Up is the place for tech founders, inventors, and musical instrument makers to come together, collaborate, network and share their ideas, successes, and struggles to build a supportive community. Learn how other founders and inventors have taken their ideas from the workbench, to beta/prototypes, to market, and share your story!

Shayli Ankenbruck is Music Tectonics‘ Head of Events, managing conference sponsorship and programming, as well as founder-focused online events.  Emily Frances, senior publicist at Rock Paper Scissors, gets her music tech clients’ unique stories in front of journalists with creativity and determination.

Both hosts have been working with startup founders in the music tech space through years of pandemic challenges and shifts in the pandemic landscape.

About Music Tectonics

The ground beneath the music industry has shifted. Tech-fueled earthquakes have been shaking the music industry for some time now, creating dramatic new landscapes—and opportunities to serve artists at the intersection of music, technology, and business.

Music Tectonics, brainchild of PR firm Rock Paper Scissors, explores this junction with an annual conference, monthly online events, and a weekly podcast.
